Oklahoma Music Therapists in conjunction with Oklahoma State University (OSU) proudly presents “Performers on the Rise.”

This black-tie affair will feature the OSU orchestra, drum line, Oklahoma’s All-State Children’s Honor Choir, as well as musically brilliant and exceptional children and adults from Enid, Stillwater and Weatherford. This benefit concert will promote collaboration between performers with disabilities, typical developing, professional musicians, choreographers and theater directors in public performances of the highest production standards.

"Performers on the Rise” will be held at the Seretean Center at Oklahoma State University on April 11, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. This event will feature music from Broadway shows, classical composers, and a wide array of music from the 50’s all the way to present day.

Following the benefit concert a gourmet reception will be held as well as a silent auction, art displays and an opportunity to meet the stars. Oklahoma Music Therapists will provide an exposition of exhibits from facilities that utilize music therapy.
